Job summary

Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is seeking a Summer Intern for Marketing and Events to support end-to-end event planning, client dinners, and corporate events. You will assist with conferences and trade associations while contributing to marketing initiatives using Cvent, Salesforce, and Attendee Hub.

Occasional travel to out-of-town events is expected. Ideal candidates are current juniors with a 3.0+ GPA, proficient in MS Office, and ready to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative,

• GPA of at least 3.0 and in good academic standing
• MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required
• Salesforce experience not required, but preferred

Responsibilities

• Assistance with end-to-end event planning/coordination for conferences, client dinners, and corporate events
• Events include FHLBank Chicago conferences and regional meetings, trade association events, corporate events, product education and other forums, and webinars
• Assist in Marketing strategy of the department – including using Cvent, Attendee Hub, and Salesforce (Marketing and Sales Cloud)
• Position requires occasional travel to support out-of-town client events and conferences

We are currently looking for Summer intern to work full-time during the summer in our Marketing and Events area. From the Marketing side, this person will work heavily in Cvent & Salesforce, helping to create websites, apps, email campaigns, and journeys. From the Events side, the long-term intern will assist with planning and executing logistics for conferences, client dinners, and corporate events. In addition, the intern will help manage FHLBank Chicago presence at trade association events in coordination with other departments.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Events includes FHLBank Chicago conferences and regional meetings, trade association events, corporate events, product education and other forums, and webinars

• Position requires occasional travel to support out-of-town client events and conferences

Requirements:

Salary Range:

$38,800.00 - $58,100.00
