Job summary

Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is seeking a Summer intern for the Marketing and Events team to support website/app creation, email campaigns, and event logistics. The role involves heavy use of Cvent & Salesforce and participation in conferences and client dinners.

The intern will help manage the Bank's presence at trade association events, coordinate logistics, and work with multiple departments to execute events and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be a current junior at an accredited four-year institution.
• Must have GPA of at least 3.0 and be in good academic standing.
• MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist end-to-end event planning for conferences, dinners, and corporate events.
• Support FHLBank Chicago conferences, regional meetings, and trade association events.
• Assist in Marketing strategy using Cvent, Attendee Hub, and Salesforce across Marketing and Sales Cloud.
• Occasional travel to support out-of-town client events and conferences.

We are currently looking for Summer intern to work full-time during the summer in our Marketing and Events area. From the Marketing side, this person will work heavily in Cvent & Salesforce, helping to create websites, apps, email campaigns, and journeys. From the Events side, the long-term intern will assist with planning and executing logistics for conferences, client dinners, and corporate events. In addition, the intern will help manage FHLBank Chicago presence at trade association events in coordination with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with end-to-end event planning/coordination for conferences, client dinners, and corporate events.
• Events includes FHLBank Chicago conferences and regional meetings, trade association events, corporate events, product education and other forums, and webinars.
• Assist in Marketing strategy of the department – including using Cvent, Attendee Hub, and Salesforce (Both Marketing and Sales Cloud).
• Position requires occasional travel to support out-of-town client events and conferences.

Salary Range: $38,800.00 - $58,100.00
