Job summary

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is offering a Summer internship in Marketing and Events. The role provides real-world experience in financial services through hands-on projects in campaigns, websites, email campaigns, and events.

As an intern, you will work with Cvent, Salesforce, Attendee Hub, and other tools, support conferences and client dinners, and help manage the bank's presence at trade association events. This is a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be at least junior status at an accredited four year institution.
• GPA of at least 3.0 and be in good academic standing.
• MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required.
• Salesforce experience not required, but preferred.
• Cvent experience not required, but preferred.
• Canva experience not required, but preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end event planning/coordination for conferences, client dinners, and corporate events.
• Events includes FHLBank Chicago conferences and regional meetings, trade association events, corporate events, product education and other forums, and webinars.
• Assist in Marketing strategy of the department - including using Cvent, Attendee Hub, and Salesforce (Both Marketing and Sales Cloud).
• Position requires occasional travel to support out-of-town client events and conferences.

We are currently looking for Summer intern to work full-time during the summer in our Marketing and Events area. From the Marketing side, this person will work heavily in Cvent & Salesforce, helping to create websites, apps, email campaigns, and journeys. From the Events side, the long-term intern will assist with planning and executing logistics for conferences, client dinners, and corporate events. In addition, the intern will help manage FHLBank Chicago presence at trade association events in coordination with other departments.

Salary Range:

$38,800.00 - $58,100.00
