Job summary

First Citizens Bank is offering a summer internship with the Community Development Finance team in Boston. You will rotate across the division, gaining exposure to affordable housing and development finance while learning about federal, state, and local programs that support these projects.

The program includes a dedicated manager, a capstone project, wrap-up presentation to division leaders, and professional development, networking, and community service activities.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience.
• Must be currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the program.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program.

Responsibilities

• Part of a dynamic team with interesting projects.
• Accountabilities may include research, analytics, projects, strategy, process review and improvement, plus technology enhancements and support.
• Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking and community service events.
• Have a dedicated manager and program manager to help navigate the bank and internship.
• Be assigned a project to improve a process or solve a problem and present at internship close.
• Prepare a wrap-up presentation for division leaders outlining accomplishments.
