Job summary

First Citizens Bank offers a paid summer internship in our Healthcare Finance team based in New York. This hybrid program combines hands-on deal work with developmental sessions to build a pipeline of future bankers.

Interns support underwriting and portfolio teams on credit analysis, cash flow modeling, due diligence, and client interactions while gaining exposure to deal execution and credit memo preparation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution (during time of summer program)
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program
• 3.0 minimum GPA (preferred) and rising senior status

Responsibilities

• Be part of a dynamic team with interesting projects.
• Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking, and community service events.
• Have a dedicated manager and program manager to help you navigate the bank and the internship program.
• Work as part of a Deal Team on live transactions, engaged in credit underwriting and portfolio management activities.
• Participate in internal credit approval meetings and client/customer calls.
