Job summary

First Citizens Bank offers a summer internship on the Community Development Finance team designed to turn classroom knowledge into hands-on impact. You’ll participate in a rotational program across the division and gain exposure to affordable housing and community development finance while learning about federal, state, and local programs that enable these developments.

During the internship you’ll work on research, analytics, projects, and process improvements, attend professional development

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience.
Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the program.
Able to work 40 hours per week during the internship duration.

Responsibilities

Be part of a dynamic team with interesting projects.
Support research, analytics, projects, strategy, process review and improvement, and technology enhancements.
Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking and community service events.
Have a dedicated manager and program manager to help navigate the bank and internship.
Be assigned a project designed to improve a specific process or solve a problem and present it at the close of the internship.
Prepare a wrap-up presentation for division leaders outlining accomplishments and experience.
