Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX seeks a detail-oriented Estimating Data Analyst to support data collection, analysis, and reporting for takeoff processes. You will audit takeoffs, collect data for the Estimating team, and assist with variance and budget audits to identify cost trends.

The role requires strong MS Excel skills, collaboration with the Estimating team, and the ability to work full-time at least 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Audit existing takeoff
• Collect data requested by the Estimating team
• Assist the Senior Estimating Analyst with variance and budget audits
• Assist with running reports and formatting templates to analyze data

• Review blueprints and takeoff to collect data for future reporting
• Create, organize, and maintain spreadsheets for data collection
• Review takeoff to identify items and quantities outside typical usage
• Coordinate with the Estimating team to update takeoff as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma and current enrollment in university required


• Demonstrated computer skills


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week


• Availability Monday through Friday
