Job summary

CareSource Military & Veterans (CSMV) offers a 12-week, paid summer internship for college students seeking real-world experience in health care access and delivery for veterans and military families. Interns support special projects, initiatives, and activities across multiple functions, with mentorship and potential paths to full-time roles.

Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and current rising junior/senior status or recent graduate within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Rising junior or senior in an accredited degree program or recent graduate within last 6 months required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze beneficiary, market, CRM and outreach data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support evaluation of the TRICARE Prime Demo beneficiary journey and identify friction points.
• Partner with Market Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Operations and field teams to translate insights into actions.
• Support Tampa and/or Atlanta market activation and research, including community engagement and market intelligence.
