PACCAR Parts invites a Summer Internship in Reverse Logistics at its Renton, WA headquarters. You will work with industry professionals on initiatives spanning Warranty, EZTrac Core Returns, and Credits & Returns, gaining exposure to aftermarket operations, analytics, and customer service within a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Ideal candidates are college students (junior/senior) with strong communication, teamwork, and Excel/Power BI skills, eager to contribute to process improvements

Responsibilities

• Analyze reverse logistics data to identify trends and efficiencies.
• Support Warranty, EZTrac Core Returns, and Credits & Returns teams with reporting and coordination.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to monitor performance.
• Review return transactions and warranty claims for improvements.
• Assist with process mapping and documenting current and future-state workflows.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Product Support, Inventory, IT, and DCs.
• Support testing and implementation of process improvements and system enhancements.
• Research root causes and recommend corrective actions.

PACCAR Parts has an exciting Reverse Logistics Summer Internship opening at our headquarters in Renton, WA. The selected candidate will work directly with industry professionals supporting key initiatives within Reverse Logistics which encompasses Warranty, EZTrac Core Returns, and Credits & Returns. Projects will provide exposure to aftermarket operations, process improvement, business analytics, customer service, and supply chain support activities that help drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Develop mentoring relationships with industry leaders

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Analyze reverse logistics data to identify trends, process improvement opportunities, and operational efficiencies
• Support Warranty, EZTrac Core Returns, and Credits & Returns teams with reporting, project coordination, and process documentation
• Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, and business metrics used to monitor performance
• Review and analyze return transactions, warranty claims, and core recovery activity to identify potential improvements
• Assist with process mapping and documentation of current and future-state workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Product Support, Inventory Management, IT, and Parts Distribution Centers
• Support testing and implementation of process improvements, system enhancements, and operational initiatives
• Research root causes of recurring issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions

Qualifications

• Strong interest in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Self-motivation and energetic personality
• Team-oriented
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Strong PC skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or data analysis tools preferred

This internship is for students currently enrolled in college, junior or senior standing preferred.

The salary range for our intern positions is as follows:

• Undergraduate Students: $25.00/Hour
• Graduate Students: $30.00/Hour
• Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
