Job summary

Tilcon New York Inc., a CRH company, is offering an internship in its aggregate or asphalt operations. Interns will be educated, trained, and exposed to day-to-day duties under a supervisor, gaining experience relevant to their course of study or technical skill. PPE is required and safety is the core value guiding all activities.

Rate: $20-$23/hour. Opportunity for growth and professional development within Tilcon New York Inc. and CRH across New York and New Jersey locations.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled in college, university or technical school.
• Internship exposes you to aggregate or asphalt operations under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Participate in learning the day-to-day tasks of the Aggregate or Asphalt Department.
• Observe and understand the department's responsibilities and reporting duties.
• Assist in assigned projects and tasks under leadership guidance.
• Work in the Quality Control context to understand production quality.
• Present a final internship project at the end of the program.
• Wear required PPE and follow all safety policies.
