Job summary

Tilcon New York Inc., a CRH company, is offering an internship across the aggregate or asphalt operations. You will be educated and trained under a supervisor to perform day-to-day tasks relevant to your course of study or technical skill.

Responsibilities include learning departmental duties, understanding reporting and regulatory tasks, and working on a final project. Rate offered is $20-$23 per hour with a safety-focused environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Student in college, university, or technical school.
• Ability to convey a positive and professional image as an Intern.
• Ability to follow directions and complete simple tasks.
• Ability to be tactful with average communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Learn day-to-day tasks in the Aggregate or Asphalt Department under supervision.
• Study how the department relates to the company and organization as a whole.
• Understand duties of each team member in the department.
• Be exposed to department reporting and regulatory responsibilities.
• Work on assigned projects to present at internship end.
• Support the Quality Control Department to connect quality production with product quality.
