A leading engineering firm in Spokane is looking for motivated Summer Interns to contribute to various engineering projects. Interns will gain hands-on experience in design calculations, drafting, and fieldwork across disciplines such as Civil, Environmental, and Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program, possesses strong communication skills, and has a keen attention to detail. This paid internship offers $20-$25 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited civil engineering or related program.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations and technical analyses.

• Participate in client meetings and project discussions.
• Learn about local, state, and federal project requirements.

What You’ll Do:

As an Intern , you will contribute to a variety of projects across multiple disciplines and support project teams with tasks such as:

• Performing design calculations and technical analyses
• Drafting and designing/modeling using AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Revit (or other discipline specific software)
• Preparing plans, reports, and project documentation
• Supporting construction inspections, testing, and field work
• Participate in client meetings and project discussions
• Learn about local, state and federal project requirements

Project Types:

Depending on your discipline, you may work on projects like:

• Water, Sewer and Stormwater Infrastructure
• Roads & Highways
• Subdivision and Commercial Site Development
• Federal Government facilities (e.g., U.S. Air Force projects)
• Building and Structure Design
