Job summary

Wawa, Inc. in Media, PA, offers the Summer 2027 Internal Care Internship Program, a full-time, hands-on experience with our Internal Care team. You'll support values nominations, life experience completions, and store field requests while collaborating with mentors and leaders.

The program runs May 17, 2027 through August 5, 2027, with a 37.5 hour work week onsite four days per week, and includes professional development, networking, and a capstone presentation showcasing your contributions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between Spring 2028 and Spring 2030.
• Ability to work onsite at Wawa Corporate Headquarters in Media, PA, four days per week throughout the internship program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the timely completion of Values Nominations which may include writing, printing, and processing for delivery.
• Assist with various aspects of Life Experience completions which may include packing, labeling, and preparing items for delivery.
• Assist with processing, tracking and accurately documenting store field requests, i.e., blanket requests, baby bundle requests as well as a variety of other items ordered as appropriate to the requests.
• Participation in the Back 2 School program duties may include management and associate level follow up; researching, ordering, and receiving items needed as well as field support as requested.
