The 10-week program runs June 1, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with relocation assistance if needed. The intern will assist in audits, test SOX and ICFR controls, and evaluate internal controls using a risk-based approach while growing in data analytics, automation and agile audit

Qualifications

• Rising senior pursuing a degree in Accounting, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field will graduate between Nov 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Available to work in Nashville for all 10 weeks of the program; relocation assistance provided if not based in Nashville.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available.
• The candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for internal audit.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of audits.
• Support the internal audit function in testing SOX and ICFR controls.
• Verify that operations run in a controlled environment with risk-management processes.
• Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls using risk-based methods.
• Contribute to audit value by recommending data analytics, automation and agile approaches.
• Support management communication and follow-up on audit issues and resolutions.
• Help clearly communicate audit results to senior management and governance committees.
