Job summary

Equitable in Charlotte, NC is seeking motivated Summer 2027 Interns for the Individual Retirement Sales Desk to gain hands-on experience in retirement solutions and wholesale collaboration. This paid internship offers a nine-week program starting in early June 2027 with an hourly rate of $22 and a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Interest in financial services, sales, and relationship driven environments.
• Experience taking initiative and leading through academics, athletics or activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of retirement and annuity products through training and hands-on experience.
• Work alongside Internal Wholesalers to learn distribution through relationships with Financial Professionals.
• Learn how illustrations and product concepts are used to present retirement solutions to clients.
• Utilize CRM systems, reporting tools, and data to prepare call lists and reports.
• Contribute to projects supporting key priorities within the Individual Retirement business.
