Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA seeks a Global Internal Audit intern to support the Internal Audit department's risk-based reviews. You will assist with audits, analytics, and documenting findings, reporting to the Intern Audit Manager.

This paid full-time hybrid summer internship offers exposure to financial and operational audits, data analytics, and professional growth within a global nuclear energy company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
• Complete junior year of college.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal financial and operational audits and advisory reviews.
• Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Gather and prepare audit documentation to support conclusions reached.
• Draft reports related to audit results and recommend changes in financial and operational, and present to audit leadership.
• Help with data analytics program developing queries and reviewing output.
• Complete other activities as identified by the Manager of Internal Audit.

About the role:

As a Global Internal Audit intern, you will be part of the ongoing evolution of the Westinghouse Internal Audit department. The Global Internal Audit Intern will assist with improving the department and participate on risk-based financial and operational audits and advisory reviews.

You will report to the Intern Audit Manager and be located at our Cranberry location. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform internal financial and operational audits and advisory reviews
• Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls

• Gather and prepare audit documentation to support conclusions reached
