Job summary

OCC's Internal Audit internship in Chicago offers hands-on experience with audit planning, fieldwork and reporting. Interns work on engagements and validations, supporting engagement leads and supervisors while gaining exposure to cybersecurity and information technology controls.

Open to rising seniors or grad students graduating 2027/2028, the program is 12 weeks, summer 2027, with up to 40 hours/week in a hybrid environment. No prior tech experience is required beyond MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or second-year graduate student, graduating December 2027 or May/August 2028.
• Desired Majors: MIS, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Technical Skills/Experience Desired: No technical experience is required outside of general Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Additional Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and drive them to completion, and a willingness to take on undefined tasks and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Document process walkthroughs, control design and operating effectiveness procedures, and any finding or enhancement that may result from procedures performed.
