Job summary

General Motors is seeking a motivated student for the GM OneOps Deploye Engineer internship at the Warren Technical Center. You will lead deployment planning, plant engagement, and adoption of GM OneOps across plants in the sector, coordinating with operations, IT, and manufacturing engineering teams.

This onsite summer role requires full-time availability (40 hours/week) and willingness to travel to GM facilities.

Qualifications

Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Must be graduating between December 2027 and June 2030.
Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week during the summer months.
Willingness to work in a plant environment and travel to GM facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end deployment of GM OneOps across plants in the assigned sector.
Plan rollout, readiness, execution, and adoption with accountability for milestones.
Drive standardization of plant processes, role-based workflows, and operating practices.
Coordinate with plant leadership, operations, manufacturing engineering, and IT.
Build and manage sector deployment plans, including milestones and risk management.
Monitor adoption and performance after launch, identify gaps, and take corrective actions.
Ensure consistent communication across plants and align with GMNA priorities.
Capture lessons learned to improve repeatability and speed for future rollouts.
