Allegion is offering a Summer Intern position in Carmel, Indiana within Global Supply Management, Direct Material, and Commodity Management. You will gain hands‑on exposure to NPD, Sourced Product, and Direct Material workflows, while working with ERP tools like Oracle and data visualization through Power BI.

You will support risk mitigation, supplier diversity, and project leadership across GSM initiatives, contributing to ESG goals and overall supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, International Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative through extracurricular activities, school projects, or work experience.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about Allegion’s global supply management strategies, including New Product Development (NPD), Sourced Product, and Direct Material, and how they support business goals.
  • Gain hands‑on experience with procurement technologies, including ERP systems like Oracle, SMART by GEP, and data visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI.
  • Support supplier & external risk management efforts by analyzing risk factors and helping develop mitigation strategies.
  • Engage with diverse suppliers to understand the impact of Supplier Diversity programs on ESG goals and supply chain resilience.
  • Lead projects both internal to GSM and on a company‑wide basis furthering the exposure to other functions within Allegion.
  • Build foundational knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.

Summer Intern – Global Supply Management, Direct Material, Commodity Management – Carmel, Indiana

Join Allegion’s Global Supply Management team and make meaningful impact on our strategic initiatives, processes, and KPIs. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in commodity management, supplier relationship management, risk management, supplier diversity, and digital transformation within a global manufacturing and security solutions company. You will work closely with industry experts, participate in real projects, and develop skills that will be useful for launching your career in supply chain and strategic sourcing. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H‑1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.

What You Will Do:
