Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking interns for the Future Talent Program in its Discovery Pharmaceutical Sciences Department in Boston, MA.

Interns will join a multidisciplinary team to work on formulation development and manufacturing of oral, sterile, and specialty products across small molecules, peptides, biologics, and vaccines. Interns will collaborate on projects such as polymer/API composites, biologics formulation, lipid-based delivery systems, and peptides.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree OR a graduate student pursuing a Masters or Ph.D. in relevant fields.
• Available to work full-time for up to 12 weeks from June–August 2027.
• Completed at least 2 years of studies by June 2024.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment to advance drug formulation and manufacturing projects.
• Participate in departmental and project team meetings to provide a broad perspective on drug development.
• Present research results in oral and written formats upon completion of the project.
