Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. Ingalls Shipbuilding division invites applications for its 2027 College Summer Intern-COMPUTER ENGINEERING program in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

This 10-week, 40-hour-per-week internship offers exposure to aerospace-grade computing systems and hands-on engineering tasks in a real shipyard environment. You'll be enrolled in a relevant degree program, maintain a minimum GPA, and complete background checks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old before the start of the program.
• Enrolled in a degreed program supporting the company’s business needs, typically Computer Engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher with transcripts uploaded.
• Attend college/university in the fall following the internship.
• Successful background check, physical, and hair follicle drug screen.
• Work a 40-hour week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in technical or administrative roles within Ingalls Shipbuilding.
• Collaborate with engineers on projects and site activities in a shipyard setting.
• Provide information and meet application information requirements as requested.
