Energy Transfer LP invites interested students to join our Summer Internship program in Commercial Optimization & Scheduling. The role offers exposure to pricing, forward curves, and gas flow coordination within a major energy portfolio.

You will work with cross-functional teams, learn pipeline operations basics, and build hands-on data skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting scheduling and contract activities.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in college majoring in Energy Commerce or a Business related program
• Strong computer and advanced Excel skills preferred
• Must possess a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
• Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
• Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization

Aufgaben

• Maintain historical pricing and forward curves spreadsheets for customers and internally
• Learn the basic principals involved in Gathering & Processing rich gas volumes
• Work closely with Gas Control and Field representatives to ensure accurate flows
• Update maps and category systems for all major pipelines
• Assist scheduling with daily nominations and confirmations
• Monitor Maintenance Calendar and communicate upcoming impact both internally and externally
• Assist with updating contacts and help establish relationships with third parties
• True up data across several workbooks
• Help scheduling by coordinating new contracts or meter point additions with contracts team
• Provide analytical data from a multitude of system application
