Job summary

NBA welcomes applicants to the 2027 Summer Internship, a 10-week program running June 7–August 13, 2027. Interns gain exposure to the business of basketball, with professional development and community experiences across NBA, WNBA and G-League.

The program prioritizes rising seniors and seeks leaders with strong communication skills and high academic standing. Interns will support Facilities, Finance, HR, Security, SRPP, and more, with AI-enabled project execution emphasis.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate program and entering Senior year.
• Majors commonly pursued include Accounting, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Media, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Pre-Law, Psychology, Sociology, Strategy or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support domestic and international strategy for their departments.
• Provide data-based analysis to influence business outcomes.
• Assist with event management for marquee events (HR Summit, NBA Draft, Summer League, All-Star).
• Co-manage staff or community-facing initiatives across NBA/WNBA teams.
• Identify content and social platform opportunities to drive campaigns.
• Develop department resources such as company toolkits.
• Conduct field research on industry competitors.
• Create company-wide communications for intranet and social media.
