Job summary

The NBA is offering a 2027 Summer Internship, a 10-week program running June 7 – August 13, 2027. Interns gain exposure to the business of basketball, work across departments, and participate in professional development programming as well as community and social experiences.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in MBA or other graduate-level programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership shown through extracurricular or community activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on startups, VC, opportunities and content tech.
• Build a database of startups’ metrics and portfolio company insights.
• Develop innovation initiatives on emerging tech related to live game product and fan experience.
• Perform due diligence on potential investments and target companies.
• Review contracts and decks to identify gaps and guardrails for partnerships.
• Provide analytical guidance to senior stakeholders and maintain client relationships.
