Job summary
The NBA invites rising seniors to apply for the 2027 Summer Internship, a 10-week program running June 7 to August 13, 2027. Interns will learn about the business of basketball, develop career skills, and contribute to projects across NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League, with professional development and community experiences.

Qualifications
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program and entering Senior year.
- Majors commonly pursued include Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Sports Management, or Sports Marketing.
- Strong writing and editing skills; strong interpersonal abilities; editorial judgement.
- Experience with content publishing and fact-checking; knowledge of emerging platforms; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop.
- Brand investment in NBA and affiliate leagues.
Responsibilities
- Support marketing and strategic communications for NBA events.
- Draft and edit correspondence to fans and media.
- Pitch innovative ideas to group leadership.
- Create fan engagement tracking reports and analyze sentiment.
- Develop media plans for events across the NBA calendar.
- Assist with internal communications and employee spotlights.
- Publish press releases for NBA and WNBA communications.
