Job summary

Hubbell Summer Intern: Engineering - Design program offers a 10 to 12-week opportunity in the United States to gain corporate experience, learn about Hubbell, and prepare for a career with the company.

The intern will help develop surge arrester materials and designs, collaborate with engineering teams on prototypes, testing, data analysis, and present results, gaining hands-on experience in product innovation and electrical testing. Compensation is hourly based on academic standing.

Qualifications

• Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university May–August 2027, pursuing a related degree (required).
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply classroom knowledge to on-the-job experiences and value-added projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on prototype development, testing and data analysis.
• Prepare and present results to local management and stakeholders.
• Develop technical skills specific to the internship and role.
