Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated invites students to participate in its Internship Program, a 10 to 12-week experience designed to expose them to corporate operations and diverse business areas. The intern will focus on engineering processes and NERC codes within the utility industry related to electrical equipment enclosures.

Responsibilities include applying classroom knowledge on real projects, collaborating with teams, and presenting results to local management at program end.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to the internship.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Apply skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to on-the-job experiences.
  • Work on comprehensive, value-added projects.
  • Collaborate in teams and with colleagues in a professional environment.
  • Develop technical skills specific to your major.
  • Provide opportunities for professional development by building relationships and learning about other parts of the business.
  • Deliver a presentation to the local management team at the end of the program.
  • Gain knowledge of the industry as it pertains to Hubbell business locations.
  • Develop planning and organizational skills while working on challenging projects.
  • Assist with process improvement and manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks.
