Job summary

Welltower is seeking a Summer Interior Design Coordinator Intern to support the West Coast Design team. You will gain hands‑on exposure to large‑scale senior living projects, assisting from design development through installation and closeout, with travel within California as needed.

You’ll work closely with senior team members, gain practical experience in sourcing, documentation, field coordination, vendor communication, and project execution in a dynamic wellness‑focused real estate

Qualifications

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Interior Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related field.
Coursework, design studio, internships, or project‑based experience preferred.
Willingness to learn building codes and ADA accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities

Support design team through all phases from design development to installation.
Assist with sourcing furniture, fabrics, fixtures, and finishes within project budgets.
Develop studies for furniture, fabric, finishes, and materials for in‑house designers.
Prepare finish schedules, specifications, furnishing budgets, and shop drawings.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and operator partners.
