Responsibilities

• Instructors will attend staff training on the evening of June 3rd
• Instructors will follow the lead of the program supervisor, and will assist with programming
• Instructors will arrive early, know and fully execute the plan for each day, engage 100% throughout the program, teach general disciplines of each activity, enhance skill development, build relationships with youth, and communicate as needed with parents/guardians
• Instructors will show enthusiasm and create fun, positive experiences through words, actions, and non-verbal communication
• Instructors will keep track of time worked and record on timesheet
• Instructors will openly communicate with the recreation coordinator in a timely manner regarding vacation requests, program issues, etc.
• Instructors will be required to fill in for up to two Saturday swim lessons or two evening swim lessons (if aquatics staff)
