Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta invites a currently enrolled graduate student to join its Community and Economic Development (CED) Department as a full-time summer intern for 10–12 weeks, with a possible fall continuation. The role focuses on analyzing data, developing data tools, literature reviews, and supporting outreach and publications.

Qualifications

Graduate student in urban planning, urban studies, public policy, public administration, economics, geography, business, sociology, or related field.
Interest and coursework in community and/or economic development topics.
Must be enrolled in a graduate degree program through duration of internship.
Minimum GPA above 3.0 in a rigorous curriculum.
Willing to work up to 40 hours/week for 10–12 weeks in summer and up to 20 hours/week in fall.

Responsibilities

Analyze data and report on community and economic development issues for research papers and projects.
Develop/maintain contact databases and conduct literature reviews.
Assist with preparations for and hosting virtual events and conferences.
Write and review articles for Partners Update or Workforce Currents.
Assist in survey development and analysis and support long-term strategic planning.
Provide administrative support to CED.
