Job summary

Superior Construction Co in Tampa, FL is seeking an HSE Intern for a part-time, in-person summer role in 2027. This position supports the management and execution of health, safety, and environmental tasks on heavy civil projects.

You will assist with implementing the Project Specific HSE Plan, conducting site inspections, THA audits, training, and reporting, while learning Superior’s policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to perform on construction sites and in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the Project Specific HSE Plan.
• Conduct at least one weekly HSE work site inspection.
• Assist with THA audits, incident documentation, and reporting.
