Job summary

Superior Construction Co. seeks an HSE intern to support the safety program on heavy civil/highway projects. You will assist with the HSE plan, safe work practices, THA development, and site inspections, learning regulatory requirements and incident reporting.

The role emphasizes collaboration, reliability, and strong communication while gaining hands-on experience in construction safety on field sites.

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or similar.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations (construction preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the Project Specific HSE Plan.
• Assist with safe work practices, work plans and THA.
• Conduct weekly HSE work site inspections and document findings.
• Assist with incident investigations and reporting.
• Participate in project training and HSE program compliance.
