Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Summer Health and Safety Intern to support the Corporate Health and Safety team, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to safety initiatives across distribution centers.

The role focuses on data collection, analysis, and reporting, with opportunities to participate in audits, inspections, and training material development. Start and end dates are in summer 2027, with multiple U.S. locations available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health and Safety related field.
• Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at time of internship preferred.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
• Less than 2 years of experience in clinical operations support, healthcare administration, patient services, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing projects, reporting, analysis, or process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, or key learnings at internship conclusion.
• Participate in audits and inspections, developing training materials, and supporting safety initiatives.
