Cencora is offering a Summer 2027 Health & Safety Intern role in Texas. You will support projects, assist with audits and trainings, and help implement safety practices across distribution centers.

The internship runs June 7 to August 13, 2027, with location options in Roanoke, TX or Sugar Land, TX, and Whitestown, IN. The program emphasizes hands‑on experience, collaboration with the Health & Safety team, and exposure to real business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Health and Safety Management, Industrial Safety or Occupational Health and Safety.
• Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
• Less than 2 years of experience in clinical operations support, healthcare administration, patient services, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing projects, reporting, analysis, or process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and business partners.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and internship program activities.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, or key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
