Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Grounds: mowing, watering, fertilizing lawns; trimming trees and shrubs; removing weeds; maintaining playground equipment; assist in sprinkler system work.
• Custodial: vacuuming, mopping, stripping and waxing floors; cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, classrooms and furniture; washing walls/windows.
• Painters: patching and painting walls; repairing damaged surfaces; assist in building partitions.
• Lawnmowers: mowing, watering, fertilizing lawns; maintaining playground equipment; sprinkler system maintenance.
• Moving and carpet removal: relocate classrooms, furniture, carpet removal.

SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be $13.39 per hour

JOB SUMMARY: We have 40 positions available for Summer General Maintenance Assistants.

Eight positions for grounds which includes assisting in mowing, watering, and fertilizing lawns; trimming trees and
shrubs; removing weeds; removing trash and litter; maintaining playground equipment. May assist in installation
and maintenance of sprinkler systems.

Ten positions for custodial which includes assisting in performing routine custodial services such as vaccuumng,
mopping floors, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, classrooms, and furniture; washing
walls, windows, and other surface areas.

Ten positions for painters which includes assisting in patching and painting walls, repairing damaged wall
surfaces,may assist in building partitions and wall.

Two positions for lawnmowers which includes assisting in mowing, watering, and fertilizing lawns; trimming trees
and shrubs; removing weeds; removing trash and litter; maintaining playground equipment. May assist in
maintenance of sprinkler systems.

Ten positions for moving and for carpet removal which include moving classrooms, furniture, carpet removal.
