Job summary

Leopardo Construction is seeking a Field Engineer Intern to join our team next summer. The Intern will support Project Management, Estimating and Field Operations in planning, directing and coordinating project activities to meet goals.

The program includes hands-on field exposure and a structured intern training track. Responsibilities include monitoring schedules, reviewing submittals, participating in meetings, maintaining logs, and assisting with closeout documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor master construction schedule and track critical dates of all activities affecting the project completion (Owner, Architect, Consultants, Contractor, Subcontractors, Municipalities, Equipment Suppliers, Site Due Diligence, etc.); provide updates as required.
• Review and process submittals, shop drawings and RFI’s. Establish, maintain and update logs that meet Company or Owner’s specifications.
• Participate in pre, weekly (e.g. OAC, MEP Coordination, Pre-installation, etc.) and post construction meetings.
• Maintain change order log to review weekly status of changes.
• Project completion closeout documentation.
• Ensure correct setup and maintenance of filing and archiving systems.
