Job summary

Shine BrightX LLC is seeking a motivated merchandising intern for the summer in Stamford, CT. You will analyze fashion trends, assist with competitive analysis, and support seasonal line adoption and sample management.

You'll work closely with business leaders, prepare line sheets, and learn to read weekly selling reports by category and style. Strong Excel skills and organization are essential in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Rising college senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in merchandising or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret fashion trends for business insights.
• Assist with competitive analysis projects.
• Help with seasonal line adoption preparation.
• Assist in sample management and organization.
• Create and format line sheets and run analysis reporting.
• Learn to run and read weekly selling reports by category and style.
• Support day-to-day operations within the department and assist other teams.
• Handle administrative tasks throughout the office.
• Work on a group project and present findings to management.
