Job summary

Innovative Ag Services is accepting applications for their 2027 Facility Operations Summer Internship Program. IAS is a full service farm cooperative offering supplies and services to 5,000+ members across 30 locations in northeast and central Iowa and southwest Wisconsin.

The internship aims to provide hands-on knowledge of agriculture business and operations within a safe, effective cooperative framework.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement; MVR must pass IAS insurance guidelines.
• Strong people skills, good phone etiquette, follows directions, meets deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist in crop nutrient and crop protection facilities; work orders and field maps.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of location equipment and facilities.
• Distribute farm supplies and learn dispatching techniques.
• Maintain warehouse orderliness, housekeeping, and inventory control.
• Accompany and perform agronomy practices including precision tech; assist grain facility operations.
