Job summary

The Aspen Institute in Aspen, Colorado seeks a Seasonal Events & Communications Coordinator to support summer public programming. This temporary role handles event registration, marketing outreach, and on-site logistics to ensure smooth speaker and attendee experiences.

You will work with the Director and Senior Program Associate, coordinate with internal teams, draft press materials, manage listings and social content, and help with vendor payments and materials.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage event registration through the Institute's ticketing platform.
• Monitor attendance and track registration trends.
• Respond to attendee inquiries regarding registration and logistics.
• Maintain guest lists and oversee day-of-event check-in.
• Coordinate with internal departments to determine ticketing needs.
• Support marketing with speaker materials and email content.
