Bath Iron Works, a division of General Dynamics, is offering a 2027 Summer Internship in the Planning Yard. Located in Bath, ME, the program targets engineering students and provides hands-on work supporting US Navy destroyer design, material and logistics, with a May 17 to August 6, 2027 timeframe.

Interns must be enrolled in BS/MS in Engineering programs, be available to start May 17, 2027, and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and planning skills along with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Self-motivation and the ability to contribute as a team member.
• General computer skills and a knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Ability to organize, plan and execute projects.
• Research skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Must currently be enrolled in a BS or MS Academic Program within Engineering or related disciplines.
• Must be available to begin the Internship on Monday, May 17, 2027.
