Job summary

Oxy offers a 12-week Summer Intern Program designed to provide hands-on experience in Oxy’s core businesses. Interns will work on real-life projects, be paired with a manager and mentor for guidance, and participate in training, field trips, and social activities.

The program aims to develop skills and expose interns to leadership opportunities within oil and gas. Applicants should be pursuing an Engineering degree, maintain a 2.85 GPA, and expect to graduate between December 2027 and May 2029.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Engineering degree in a relevant field.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.85 on a 4.0 scale.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2029.

Responsibilities

• Work on real-life projects in Oxy's core businesses.
• Be paired with a manager and mentor for technical guidance.
• Attend training and development courses, lunch-and-learns, field trips and social activities.
• Observe and participate in operations engineering projects as part of the internship.
