Job summary

Air Liquide invites applications for 2027 Summer Interns in Engineering (Evergreen) in multiple US locations, including Houston, TX. The paid internship offers hands-on exposure to plant operations, technical support, and project engineering, with opportunities to join the ALLEX program.

Pursuing a bachelor’s in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a 3.2 GPA, you must have own transport and housing arrangements and be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical and Mechanical).
• Expected graduation between May 2028 and May 2029.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 (on 4.0 scale).
• Must provide own daily transportation to/from work.
• Must secure and finance own housing.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be open and relocate anywhere in the US during/post program.

Responsibilities

• Plant Operations - Provide engineering support to daily management and efficient operation of a production facility. Assist plant management and/or engineering teams in large maintenance activities and/or plant process improvements.
• Technical Support - Provide engineering support to zone engineering teams responsible for efficiency and continuous improvement projects at various plant locations within a defined geographical area. Support zone reliability centers in maintenance and installation of new equipment.
• Project Engineer – Assist experienced project engineers and/or managers in execution of small (<$2M), medium ($2M-$10M), or large (>$10M) projects; interact with vendors and customers, troubleshoot installations, and oversee costs and maintenance.
