Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking 2027 Summer Interns in multiple locations across the US, including Houston, TX, for engineering tracks. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $33.00 per hour, designed to introduce college students to the industrial gas industry and Air Liquide’s technologies and services.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in Plant Operations, Technical Support, and Project Engineering, with opportunities to network across levels of the organization and participate in the ALLEX program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical and Mechanical).
• Expected graduation between May 2028 and May 2029.
• Minimum cumulative GPA 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
• Must provide own daily transportation to/from work.
• Must secure and finance own housing.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to relocate anywhere in the US during and after the program.
• Prior Internship Experience (preferred).
• Experience in the industrial gas industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the daily management and efficient operation of a production facility.
• Assist plant management and/or engineering teams in the execution of maintenance activities and plant process improvements.
• Familiarize yourself with a specific production technology/process and the plant working environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical and Mechanical)
