Job summary

Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) invites college students pursuing undergraduate engineering degrees to apply for a paid summer internship in 2027. The program includes hands-on exposure, field inspections, and design tasks under engineering staff supervision, with a 40-hour week, and a 10-week duration.

Interns must meet prerequisites including full-time enrollment and transcripts, pass drug/background checks, and reside within DRPA’s Port District.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate engineering degree program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CADD.

Responsibilities

• Assist DRPA Engineers in field inspection/survey, engineering design, plan review and material preparation; contribute to capital planning and budgeting, and development of presentation materials.
