Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) invites college students to join its 2027 Summer Internship in Risk Management, based in Camden, NJ. The program emphasizes hands-on exposure to professional environments with structured training and project work.

Applicants must meet eligibility criteria, pass drug and background checks, and be enrolled as undergraduates with full-time status for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. 10-week schedule with full-time hours and paid weekly pay.

Qualificações

• Coursework or experience in Risk Management, Insurance, or related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to research, interpret, and summarize information.
• Willingness to learn, manage multiple assignments, and follow procedures.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Review COIs for compliance with requirements, with guidance.
• Assist in documenting insurance requirements for contracts and procurements.
• Support the presentation of insurance and risk requirements at pre-bid meetings.
• Use Driver History Forms to direct MVR reviews.
• Assist with reviews of MVRs per Fleet Safety Program.
• Analyze injury and incident data to identify trends and prepare reports.
• Support annual insurance renewal data gathering and applications.
• Draft, update SOPs and internal guidance documents.
• Create and update PowerPoint presentations and training materials.
• Update intranet content with clear, accurate information.
• Conduct basic research on insurance, risk, and safety topics.
• Support enterprise risk management projects and best practices.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and prepare follow-ups.
