Job summary

Skender is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 at our Indianapolis location. You will support the Operations team with project documentation, scheduling, and contract review under a Project Manager's guidance.

Ideal candidates pursue a 4-year engineering degree and bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in Lean production principles to improve processes and learn from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of training and construction experience.
• Strong communication and documentation management skills.
• Understanding of contract language related to construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administration, documentation and organization of Operations Department as directed by the Project Manager.
• Review construction techniques with Superintendent for quality and efficiency.
• Maintain project schedules and change orders; review submittal requirements.
