Job summary

AIG’s Summer Intern in the Underwriting - Energy department offers hands-on experience in a fast-moving, global insurance environment. You will learn alongside seasoned professionals on dynamic projects and gain core industry knowledge through masterclasses, mentoring, and networking events.

The program runs June 7 through August 6, 2027, is in-person four days per week, and may lead to opportunities within the Analyst program in July 2028.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and underwriting of risks across energy sectors.
• Review submissions, financial data, and history to inform risk selection and pricing.
• Collaborate with underwriters, risk engineers, and brokers to develop tailored solutions.
