Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago offers a Summer 2027 Internship across engineering disciplines. As an intern you will support technical design, evaluation, and construction of commercial and utility-scale projects, with teams in Transmission Engineering, Operations Performance Engineering, and Thermal Engineering.

The program runs 10–12 weeks from late May/early June, with hands-on experience, site visits to Grand Ridge and Nelson, and opportunities to meet leaders, network, and learn about the clean

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
Majoring in Engineering, including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing initiatives that support technical design, evaluation, and construction of projects.
Collaborate with transmission, operations, and thermal engineering teams on project tasks.
Participate in site visits and networking events as part of internship experience.
