Job summary

Invenergy invites qualified students to join the Summer 2027 Internship program in Chicago, IL. Interns will work across electrical engineering disciplines, including Renewable Electrical, Thermal Electrical, and SCADA, gaining hands-on experience with design, evaluation, and construction of large-scale energy projects.

Program lasts 10-12 weeks from late May/early June to August. Applicants should be enrolled, pursuing Electrical Engineering or Power Systems, and eligible to work in the United

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s program with an expected graduation Fall 2027–Summer 2028.
• Majoring in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical design, evaluation, and construction of projects across teams.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on conceptual designs and firm management.
• Support Renewable Electrical, Thermal Electrical, and SCADA engineering efforts on internship projects.
