Job summary

Jones County Junior College is seeking a Summer Electrical & Instrumentation Intern to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. The intern will learn electrical safety practices, calibration methods, and the design of automation systems, while working with E&I teams and shadowing maintenance tasks. This internship is ideal for students in Technology programs related to Electrical or Automation fields. Compensation is $20.80 per hour, and various benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or training program in Electrical, Automation & Controls, or related fields.
• Understanding of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Electrical & Instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Learn design principles of automation systems.
• Work with E&I teams on calibration methods.
• Shadow teams during maintenance and troubleshooting.
